A collection of short stories Norman wrote in college as a Philosophy major and shortly after graduation from college with a B.A. in Philosophy.
In his fresman year (1975) Norman was highly influenced by a near-death experience while surfing at Montauk, NY, in which he gained some life changing insight into his nature as an immortal spiritual being.
This was to soon be compounded by the ideas and concepts he studied in his sophmore year while taking an introductory course in Buddhism. It was enough to convince him to change his major in his junior year to Philosophy.
In his senior year (1978) he felt compelled to write three of the included short stories. After two years in California surfing and briefly studying Scientology and then seeing the movie Brianstorm, he wrote Brainstorm Blizzard in the mid 80's.
The seoncd edition includes images of the original hand written manuscripts of the first three stories.
